Lebanese Lemon and Garlic Chicken and Potatoes

If you love lemon and garlic, you will love this dish!  The combination of flavours with the soft, juicy potatoes and crisp chicken, served with the delicious sauce from the pan juices – out of this world!

Personally, I love anything with lemon and a tang, but my husband is not always keen.  However, he said this was one of the best meals he’s had!

Well worth a try and perfect for a family meal or gathering!



Lebanese Lemon Garlic Chicken and Potato Recipe


  • 8 Chicken pieces organic, free range
  • 8 mediume Potatoes organic, peeled and quartered
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 cup Lemon Juice freshly squeezed
  • 1/2 cup Olive Oil organic, cold pressed
  • Salt and Pepper to taste


  1. Preheat oven to 180 deg C

  2. Place potatoes and chicken in a large Pyrex Baking Dish. Season with Salt and Pepper

  3. In a bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice and garlic

  4. Pour over the potatoes and chicken

  5. Cover the dish with foil

  6. Bake for 30 minutes, remove foil and bake for a further 30 minutes so that the chicken and potatoes become a golden colour

  7. Serve with steamed greens or a fresh salad
